Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Yea.io ("the Service"), operated by Yea.io ("we", "us", "our"). By using Yea.io, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Yea.io Is

Yea.io is a file hosting and portfolio display service. You sync files from your computer to our servers, and we host them on a public portfolio page at your chosen URL. You control which files are public and which are private.

Your Account

You sign in with your email address via a magic link; no password needed. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Your Content

You own your files. Uploading content to Yea.io does not transfer ownership to us. You grant us a limited license to store, serve, and display your files as needed to operate the Service (for example, serving your public files to visitors of your portfolio page).

You are responsible for the content you upload. You agree not to upload:

• Content that violates any law or regulation
• Content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property
• Malware, spam, or harmful files
• Content that harasses, threatens, or abuses others

Our Rights

We may remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful, without prior notice. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice when possible, but we can't always guarantee it.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard; this will remove your files and data from our servers.

Service Availability

Yea.io is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or availability. We're not liable for any data loss, so please keep local copies of your files (which is the default behavior of the sync model anyway).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yea.io and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new terms. For significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via email or a notice on the site).
